Use safety chains or other suitable restraining devices if there is any possibility of the load
shifting, falling, or rolling from its position on the platform.

Grounding
For proper protection against damage, all of the components of the system must be properly
grounded. The grounding system contains one (1) ground rod for the scale location. The following
steps must be performed to correctly ground the system:
a. It is recommended to use 8 AWG or larger wire or braided
ground straps.
b. All of the ground connections should be 2 feet or less.
