6. If applicable, remove the defective sight from in-
side the piston and replace it with a 1” diameter
sight.
7. Hold the sight in the center of the piston with the
screwdriver tip and firmly push it into the groove
until it snaps into position.
Replacing the Rear Sight in the Cylinder
8. Remove the spring from the cylinder.
9. Remove the defective rear sight by pushing it out
from the back of the cylinder.
10.Insert a new 1 5/16” sight from the front and push
it into position.
Reassembling the launcher
1. Reinsert the spring.
2. Reinsert the piston with the sight facing the back of
the cylinder.
3. Push the washer back into its groove.
4. With a spiral motion, guide the retaining ring back
into its slot.
➤ Helpful Hint: After replacing the piston,
push the black washer below the inner groove
of the cylinder. This action will give you more
room to replace the retaining ring.
To replace the retaining ring, pull the tab (or
peel the tab of the ring) and start to spiral the
ring into the groove of the cylinder.
Once the ring is in place pull the large black
washer upward into its seated position( the
groove of the cylinder). If the large washer will
not seat properly, activate the unit and allow the
piston to slam the washer into position.
