Pump Down Stroke
DOWN STROKE: The down stroke is the
displacement stroke, meaning the material in
the cylinder is displaced by the piston rod and
forced out the pump. The inlet body ball seats
sealing the cylinder which force the material up
and out the pump. The piston body ball lifts off
its seat and allows material to flow through the
piston body and out the pump.
