Priming Resin to Gun:
1.
Check and fill the Oil Reservoirs / Packing Nut cavity 3/4 full with TSL oil or
suitable oil.
2.
Connect the Resin supply to the Resin Pump Inlet.
3.
Turn the Manual On/Off to the On position, slowly increase Pump regulator
pressure until pump is running at a slow but steady rate. Allow pump to run until a
steady stream of resin is being dispensed.

Close the gun and flush the Mix Chamber clean.
Set the Resin Pump Packing:

Press and hold the Priming button while slowly increasing pump pressure to 100
psi (7 bar). Allow the unit to set under static load for 15 to 30 minutes to seat the
Resin Pump packing set.
6.
Turn the Pump Regulator to zero.
Cup / Gel Test:
1.
To test the gel time of the Resin – Install the Turbulent Mixer and Mixer Element to
the front of the Gun. Place a suitable container under the front of the Gun

Open the Gun by turning the Manual On/Off control to the open (On) position.
Slowly increase the Pump Pressure to the desired flow rate.
3.
While the pump is dispensing resin place a small container under the resin flow to
capture approximately 100 grams. Take note of the time or start a stop watch.
4.
Turn the Manual On/Off control to the Off position.
5.
Properly flush the gun Mix Chamber clean
6.
Document test information – Gel Time, Resin Temperature, Air Temperature,
Catalyst percentage, Resin and Catalyst types and any other relevant information
associated to the Gel Test.
