Fluid Section Assembly:
NOTE: The procedures for assembly of the Stainless Steel version and standard
steel version will be the same except for Seals in the Intake Valve. For part
numbers see the correct drawing in the Parts Drawing section of this manual.
PISTON and PISTON VALVE ASSEMBLY:
1.
Install the Ball Stop (PAT-CCP-0511) into the bottom of the Piston.
2.
Install the Spring (PAT-LS-1010) into the Piston narrow end forward.
3.
Insert the Ball Guide into the Piston over the Spring. (see below for proper
orientation)
Note: The relief (round) end of the ball guide goes against the spring into the piston.
4.
Install a new O-ring (O-E-022) onto the Piston Valve.
5.
Apply a light coat of the appropriate grease to Piston Ball and place it into the
Piston on top of the Spring (PAT-LS-1010).
6.
Thread the Piston Valve into the end of the Piston and tighten. Set aside for now.
PUMP ASSEMBLY:
7. Apply a light coat of the appropriate grease to the Rod Seal Assemblies (PAT-
CCP-0516). Now install them into the top of the Outlet Body. The open side (side
with o-ring) goes down inside.
8. Install the Rod Bushing (PAT-CCP-0505) into the Packing Nut (PAT-CCP-0504).
