The Digi-Lock may accept four or five digit entry codes. 4-Digit codes are faster to enter

and program, but 5-Digit codes offer better security. The system is factory set to

4-Digit entry codes. To change the entry code length:

INSTALLATION

Programming Relay 1 Activation Time

Slave Keypad Wiring Connections (Option)

Relay 1 may be programmed to activate for 2 to 240 seconds. The factory

setting is 10 seconds. To program relay 1 activation time:

A Slave keypad may be used with the system. All programming for the Slave keypad

is done through the normal programming of the Master Keypad. Nine (9) wires are

2. Press

(or new PAC)

1. Install the Slave keypad within 500 feet of the Master keypad.

2. Run a 22 AWG, 7-conductor shielded cable and a 22 AWG, 2-conductor

shielded cable from the Master to the Slave keypad.

3. Press

3. Connect the 7-conductor cable to the Slave keypad terminals in the same

order as the connection of the Master keypad. For example, connect Master

Time Clock Feature

A time clock may be installed and used in conjunction with the Digital Lock. This will

allow certain entry codes to become valid only during designated times. The time

clock must provide a dry contact closure. To install a timer or clock:

1. Connect the clock relay output to TZONE and COM. (See diagram above)

2. Designate entry codes to be valid within the time zone. (See page 6, Step 6,

and Table 2.)

3. Time Zone designated entry codes will only be active while the dry contact is

is made across the TZONE and COM input.

4. Program the time clock to activate it's dry contact for the desired time(s).

Any timer or clock must prov ide a dry contact closure.
Failure to use a dry contact closure may cause the timer or
clock to burn out the circuit board and may cause a fire. If the
timer or clock plugs directly into an AC pow er source and it
has an AC output terminal, it does not prov ide a dry contact
closure and should not be used.
