MAINTENANCE

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

Listed below are some of the more common problems the RCS-2700 may experience,
their possible causes, and suggested solutions.

SYMPTOM

CAUSE

SOLUTION

RCS-2700 fault light
remains on after start-up
sequence and system
expansion light is blinking.

System configuration is set up
incorrectly.

1. First, turn power to the
system off.

2. Check that address switches
are set to correct unit numbers.
See Figure 1-3 in the Operations
Chapter for correct unit
numbers.

If destination does not
change to source that you
intended.

Incorrect power input.

Make sure power input is 30 V ±
10% (27–33 V) at all times. You
can power the unit from a
separate 30 VDC power supply.
