6.1 safety instructions

Warning!

Risk of injury from improper installation!

▶ Installation may be carried out by authorized technicians only and

with the appropriate tools.

▶ Following maintenance, ensure a controlled restart.

6.2 electrical installation

Danger!

Risk of injury due to electrical shock!

▶ Before reaching into the system, switch off the power supply and

secure to prevent reactivation!

▶ Observe applicable accident prevention and safety regulations for

electrical equipment!

Remove 20 mm of insu-
lation from the cable.

Risk of electric shock if protective conductor contact is missing
for variant 110 - 230 V!

▶ Always connect protective conductor.

▶ Check function of protective conductor.

▶ Protective conductor must be longer than the two other wires.

Connect the cable plug according to the pin assignment in
„Fig. 1“ or „Fig. 2“.

max. 2.5 Nm

Install the cable gland (see „Fig. 3“) and tighten the screw connection
to max. 2.5 Nm.

6.3 Installing the cable plug

Warning!

Risk of short circuit if the screw connection is not sealed!

▶ Ensure that the seal is seated correctly.

▶ Attach the cable plug carefully.

The cable outlet can be rotated by 180°.

Attach the cable plug (min. 0.5 Nm, max. 0.8 Nm).

7.1 maintenance

The cable plug is maintenance-free under normal operating conditions.

7.2 malfunctions

If malfunctions occur, check:

the power supply,

that the seal is seated correctly,

the pin assignment according to „Fig. 1“ or „Fig. 2“.

If the device still does not function, please contact your
Bürkert-Service.

note!

Transport damages!
Inadequately protected equipment may be damaged during
transport.
• During transportation protect the device against wet and dirt in

shock-resistant packaging.

• Avoid exceeding or dropping below the allowable storage

temperature.

Incorrect storage may damage the device.
• Store the device in a dry and dust-free location!
• Storage temperature: -20 °C ... +70 °C.
Damage to the environment caused by device components
contaminated with media.
• Dispose of the device and packaging in an environmentally friendly

manner.

• Observe applicable regulations on disposal and the environment.
