5.

Reboot your computer to activate the Portable Multimedia Kit.

6. If you select to use the CD-ROM with Sound, you will also have to install the Windows device driver

for Sound. Insert the Audio Application Software Disk #1 into a floppy drive, then start Windows and
run File Manager. Select the drive containing the Audio Application Software Disk#1. Find and
double-click file setup.exe. Follow the on-screen instructions and once you see the Audio
Applications Setup window, select the Custom Board Configuration button to set the proper Sound
I/O address, Interrupt (IRQ number) and DMA channel.

Note1: The Sound I/O address will always be the number of the I/O address you installed with 10 added

up. For example, if you set the I/O address at 220, then the Sound I/O address should be at
230. The Interrupt number is the same as the IRQ number you installed. The DMA should be
set at 0.

Note2: Due to the lack of DMA channel support in the PCMCIA structure, some of the DOS CD-ROM

titles will not play properly.
