Base Installation
1 Connect the power cord to the base and an electrical
outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
Use only the power cord supplied with this product.
If you need a replacement, call 1 800 222-3111.
2 Connect the corded handset to the base. Plug one end of the
coiled handset cord into the jack labeled on the underside of the
base (as shown below). Plug the other end into the handset.
3 Connect the telephone line cord(s).
• If you have a two-line jack, use only the black line cord.
Insert one end into the jack labeled
LINE 1/L1 + L2 on the
underside of the base. Insert the free end into the two-line
modular jack. Make sure the cord snaps firmly into place.
