Boot Device Priority
This feature allows the user to specify the sequence of priority for the
Boot Device. The settings are 1st boot device, 2nd boot device, 3rd
boot device, and Disabled.
Hard Disk Drives
This feature allows the user to specify the boot sequence from all
available hard disk drives. The settings are Disabled and a list of all
hard disk drives that have been detected (e.g., 1st Drive, 2nd Drive, 3rd
Drive, etc.)
Removable Drives
This feature allows the user to specify the boot sequence from all
available removable drives (e.g., 1st Drive, 2nd Drive, 3rd Drive, etc.).
CD/DVD Drives
This feature allows the user to specify the boot sequence from all
available CD/DVD drives.
Interrupt 19
Capture
Interrupt 19 is the software interrupt
that handles the boot disk function.
When this item is set to Enabled, the
ROM BIOS of the host adaptors will
"capture" Interrupt 19 at bootup and
allow the drives attached to these host
adaptors to function as bootable disks.
If this item is set to Disabled, the ROM
BIOS of the host adaptors will not
capture Interrupt 19, and the drives
attached to these adaptors will not
function as bootable devices.
