3.5.6 Onboard Devices Configuration
ASM1061.Storage.Controller.[ACHI.Mode]
Allows you to select the ASM1061 storage controller operating mode.
[Disabled]
Disables the controller.
[IDE] Set to [IDE] when you want to use the Serial ATA hard disk drives
as Parallel ATA physical storage devices.
[AHCI] Set to [AHCI] when you want the SATA hard disk drives to use the
AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface). The AHCI allows the
onboard storage driver to enable advanced Serial ATA features that
increases storage performance on random workloads by allowing
the drive to internally optimize the order of commands.
ASM1061.Storage.OPROM.[Enabled]
This item appears only when you set the previous item to [Enabled] and allows you
to enable or disable the OptionRom of the ASM1061 storage controller.
Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
Asmedia.USB.3.0.Controller.[Enabled]
[Enabled] Enables the Asmedia USB 3.0 Controller.
[Disabled] Disables the controller.
