Battery Power System (Cont’)
Inserting the Battery Pack
Follow these instructions, referring to the illustration to insert a battery pack:
1. Pull open the battery compartment door and pull out the battery lock.
2. Gently slide the battery pack into the bay with the connector facing in and the cloth tab facing out and downward.
3. Lock the battery pack by pressing the battery lock in, and then close the battery compartment door.
Removing the Battery Pack
Follow these instructions, referring to the illustration to remove a battery pack:
1. Turn OFF the Notebook PC.
2. Open the battery compartment door, and then unlock the battery pack by pulling the battery lock out.
3. Gently slide the battery pack out of the battery compartment by pulling on the cloth tab.
