Installation Instructions

Hitch Shown In Proper Position

Equipment Required: Phillip’s head screwdriver

Wrenches: 14mm, 17mm

Drill Bits: None

Fascia

1. Remove shrouds both sides on Lexus RX400h.

(4) Phillip's head screws & (2) Plastic push rivets on driver's side.
(2) Phillip's head screws, (1) Plastic push rivet & 10mm bolt, passenger's side.

2. Remove tie downs and fasteners from frame rails.
3. Remove rubber plugs (2) located in each rail.
4. Raise hitch into position and install fasteners as shown above.
5. Return tie downs, fasteners, rubber plugs & shrouds to vehicle owner.

Tighten all M10 CL8.8 fasteners with torque wrench to 38 Lb.-Ft. (52 N*M)

Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to

prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working

beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
