Wrenches: 14mm, 17mm, 19mm
Drill Bits: None
1. Remove vehicle tie down brackets and return with fasteners to vehicle owner.
2. Lower spare tire and vehicle exhaust.
3. Install fasteners as shown above.
4. Reinstall spare tire and vehicle exhaust.
Tighten all M12 CL 10.9 fasteners with torque wrench to 68 Lb.-Ft., 92 N*M

1/2” Conical washer Qty. (1) M10 X 1.25 X 40mm CL 8.8 hex bolt Qty. (7)
3/8” Conical washer Qty. (7) M12 X 1.25 X 40mm CL 10.9 Hex bolt Qty. (1)
Tighten all M10 CL 8.8 fasteners with torque wrench to 38 Lb.-Ft., 52 N*M
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to
prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working
beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.

and SAE J684.
