Laser Safety
WARNING
This device is intended for use by trained personnel only. Use of controls or
adjustments, or performance of procedures other than those described in this
manual may result in hazardous laser radiation exposure.
This is a class IIIB laser device and up to 100 mW of 785nm (NIR) laser light may be emitted during data
acquisition. Only personnel trained in laser safety protocols should be allowed to use this instrument.
The aperture warning label indicates where laser radiation may be emitted from the instrument when
using the point-and-shoot attachment. The laser safety goggles provided in the unit accessory kit must be
worn when using the point-and-shoot attachment.
Internal maintenance or repair must be performed at the factory or by authorized personnel only.
