2. Arm the system by pressing the button in the home screen. The Armed screen appears.
3. Place the sample container against the tip of the PS collar and press the (F) button. The
system will take an initial scan and automatically find the highest peak in the spectrum and report
the intensity on the screen.
4. The system will then continually take a spectrum at a set integration and report the peak intensity
on the screen. As you adjust the PS collar by twisting it clockwise or counterclockwise, it will
move the sample closer or farther away, respectively, from the final lens of the PS attachment and
report the peak intensity. Adjust the PS collar until you observe the maximum peak intensity
number on the screen.
5. When you are satisfied with the peak intensity PRESS AND HOLD the button until the
system returns to the Armed screen. You are now ready to use your PS attachment with the
container or surface used to perform the Focus adjustment.
