Remove the front door sill on the passenger side.
Remove Front Door Sill –
Passenger Side
Secure the Controller to the passenger side fi rewall
with 11" Cable Ties. Connect the red lead to the
positive battery terminal and the black lead to the
negative terminal.
Connect the Wiring Harness to the Controller.

Posi-Tap™ Instructions
Insert Tighten
Strip 3/8" Insert and
Tighten
Route the long leg of the Wire Harness across the
fi rewall to the driver’s side and under the vehicle
outside of the frame rail.
Route the short leg down the fi rewall and outside
the frame rail on the passenger side.
Route Wiring Harness
Lift up the carpet. Slit the rubber grommet in the
fl oor. Thread the trigger wires through the grommet
into the passenger compartment.
Route Trigger Wires –
Passenger Side
Use the Posi-Taps to connect the trigger wires to the
matching wires in the factory loom.
Violet / White wire in loom coming from front door.
Violet / Yellow and Violet / Grey in main loom in
door sill.

Occasionally the actual wire color may
be different than the one stated here or
there may be more than one wire with the same
color. You will need to install the motor and test
each wire until you fi nd the wire that functions
correctly.
