Setup
The most important adjustment steps
On the following four pages you see a menu
schematic of the HART
® handheld in conjunc-
tion with VEGABAR process pressure trans-
mitters. The most important adjustment steps
are marked in the menu schematic with the
letters A … E. If you are not familiar with
HART
® handheld, please note: For the pa-
rameter adjustment, first push the " ENTER“
key. The adjustment is saved in the hand-
held, but not in the sensor itself.
After you have pushed " ENTER“, you have to
push " SEND“ (here in the example for the
min. adjustment).
After pushing " SEND“, a warning is displayed
that you are about to change device output
and for safety reasons, you should switch
your system to manual operation.
Push " OK“ and the adjustment is now trans-
ferred to the sensor. After a short moment,
you are asked to switch the system from
manual to automatic operation. Confirm with
"
OK“.
You now see the adjustment that was made.
