Note when installing the electrodes in the
vessel that material cones can form in solids,
thus changing the switching point. We rec-
ommend selecting a mounting location where
the electrode detects an average value of the
material cone.
The measuring probe must be installed at a
location which takes the filling and emptying
apertures of the vessel into account. To com-
pensate meas. errors caused by the material
cone, you should install the electrode at a
distance of approx.

from the vessel wall.
You should keep a min. distance of approx.
20 cm (see fig. 2.7 and 2.8).
