HOW TO USE THIS CATALOG
Important: See Safety Information in General Information Section (J300P-GI)
To identify a non- splined companion fl ange, there are nine pieces of required information:
1.
Center hole type (Round or Tapered hole)
2. Type
of
fl ange (Circular or Rectangular)
3. Series
4.
Hole size/ bore diameter
5. Keyway
width
6.
Bolt hole diameter and if the hole is drilled or tapped (drilled-D or tapped-T)
7.
Ground hub diameter (where applicable)
8.
Length of through hole
9.
Flange face to end of hub
Example: to fi nd a 1610 Series circular type companion fl ange with a straight round hole, a 3.500 bore
diameter, a keyway sidth of .875, with .375-24 tapped bolt holes, 6.8750 hub diameter, and the fl ange
face to end of hub dimension of 5.0 (see example below):
