Mark Waypoint Page
Use the Mark Waypoint page to mark and record your
current location as a waypoint. It shows the waypoint, a
waypoint symbol, date and time, location coordinates,
approximate elevation, and direction and distance from
your current location. The Rino can store 500 waypoints.

To mark your current location and open the
Mark Waypoint Page:
1. Press and hold Enter to open the Shortcut Menu.
2. Select Mark Waypoint to save your current
location as a waypoint.
3. If you do not want to save it as a new waypoint,
select the Close button and press Enter to cancel.
Creating Waypoints
To create a waypoint for a map feature
contained in the Find feature:
1. Access the Find Menu from the Main Menu and open
a categories list to select a map item.
2. Press Enter to view the map item information
page.
3. Use the Save button to save the item as a
waypoint.
To create a waypoint using the map panning
arrow:
1. With the Pan Map feature active (refer to the Map
page section of this manual), move the panning
arrow (map pointer) on the map to the location or
map item you want to mark, then press Enter.
2. Select Yes when asked you if you want to save the
location as a waypoint.
