3.1 Anti-static Precautions
WARNING!
Failure to take ESD precautions during the installation of the PC 5192 may result in permanent damage to
the PC 5192 and severe injury to the user.
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can cause serious damage to electronic components, including the PC 5192 . Dry climates are
especially susceptible to ESD. It is critical that the following anti-static precautions are strictly adhered to whenever handling
the PC 5192 or any other electrical component.
Wear an anti-static wristband - Wearing a simple anti-static wristband can help to prevent ESD from damaging the PC 5192
.
Self-grounding - Touch a grounded conducting material before handling and periodically while handling the PC 5192 .
Use an anti-static pad - When configuring the PC 5192 , place it on an antic- static pad to reduce the possibility of ESD
damage.
Only handle the edges of the PC 5192 - When handling the PC 5192 , hold it by its edges.
3.2 Unpacking Precautions
When the PC 5192 is unpacked, please do the following:
Follow the anti-static precautions outlined in Section 3.1.
Make sure the packing box is facing upwards so the PC 5152 does not fall out of the box.
Make sure all the components shown in Section 3.3 are present.
3.3 Package Contents
