4. Setting up StorConn in Linux
Installation flowchart
The set up process follows these steps:
z
In a Linux environment there is no need to first install a
Personal Web Server. You can begin installing StorConn right
away.
z The administrator must enter an email address to which alert
emails will be sent automatically in the event of malfunction.
z The history log displays error messages.
z Once these set-up steps are complete, you are ready to
access StorConn.
This chapter details the software installation process for StorConn on a Linux operating
system. The screens shown are taken from Fedora code 6.
