Remotely accessing StorConn

1. Open a browser on an

Internet-connected computer.

Enter the URL http://ip:3128/ where
the IP is the IP address of the host
machine and the port number is fixed at
3128.

The browser will automatically display
the StorConn interface. Turn to Chapter
6

Monitoring with StorConn to learn

about its capabilities.

Note

Java Runtime Environment must be installed for StorConn to be
successfully displayed on a browser and JRE version must be
5.0 or later. If JRE is not already installed, the application can
be downloaded free from http://java.sun.com/downloads/
