Channel Guide
The Channel Guide displays a list of custom stations and TV stations. Custom stations are
defined by an administrator at your site and may also include programming data (scheduled
programs names and times). TV Stations are provided by a third-party content provider and
always have programming data. Use the
Show Me
filter to see what's on. You can view
programming information up to 14 days in advance depending on what the channels are
available.
VBrick has partnered with a leading content provider for TV stations that provide news,
information, and entertainment content on the Portal Server. This is optional service that
requires a license and may not be supported at your site. The program listing includes some
80+ television programs. These programs are generally "network" listings, such as ABC, CBS,
NBC, CNN, National Geographic Channel, etc. The programming is hosted on a
VBrick-maintained server.

Viewing Scheduled Programs
The Channel Guide page shows what's currently on, or what will be on up to 14 days
in advance. Use the right or left arrows (or search using the
Show Me
filter) to search
for programming in different time slots. If you click on a channel before or after a
scheduled program, you will play whatever is currently being broadcast—just like a regular
TV. Click on the
Info
button to schedule a recording or display any custom program data
entered by an administrator. This popup also has options that let you record an entire
program in progress or schedule a future recording. You can also use manual "pushbutton"
recording in the preview window. You can perform all of the following tasks from the
Channel Guide:
• Navigate and view program information
• Play and record programs
• Schedule program recording
• View recording information
• View station information
