Change User Name and Password
The Administration Configuration screen has separate options for changing the User Name
and the Password for the Switch. The default values are:
•
User Name = root
•
Password = root
NOTE: User Name and Password are case-sensitive.
To change either value, select the required option in the Administration Configuration screen
and the select the mode from the action line. Make the change and then quit from the
edit mode using key. Ensure that the new User Name and Password is saved by
selecting the option in the action line.
