Advanced Playback
With the Time Search function you can locate specific
points.
Notes:
• The Time Search function works only within the cur-
rently playing title (DVD-Video and DVD-VR) or
track (DVD-Audio, SACD, VCD, CD, MP3). For
example, if the current title is one hour long and you
enter the time 1 hour, 30 minutes, nothing will happen.
• In some cases, playback may start from a slightly dif-
ferent point to the one that you specify.
• Time Search may not work with some discs.
• You can’t use the [SEARCH] button during random
playback.
• Time search cannot be used when playing a VCD with
PBC.
With the Repeat function you can play the current disc,
title, chapter, group, track, or folder over-and-over again.
Time Search
1 Press the [SEARCH] button
twice.
The Disc Navigator Search window
appears onscreen.
2 Use the number buttons to enter
a time.
For example, to enter 1 hour, 25 min-
utes, 30 seconds, press the [1], [2], [5],
[3], and [0] buttons.
To enter 2 minutes, 15 seconds, press
the [2], [1], and [5] buttons.

Repeat Playback
1 Press the [REPEAT] button
repeatedly to select a repeat
option.
The currently selected repeat option
appears onscreen and “REPEAT”
appears on the display.
The available options depend on the
current disc type, as follows:
DVD-Video, DVD-VR: Chapter, Title,
1 Disc, All Disc, Repeat Off.
DVD-Audio: Track Repeat, Group
Repeat, 1 Disc Repeat, All Disc
Repeat, Repeat Off.
SACD: Track Repeat, 1 Disc Repeat,
All Disc Repeat, Repeat Off.
VCD: Track, 1 Disc, All Disc, Repeat
Off.
CD: Track, 1 Disc, All Disc.
MP3/JPEG: Track, Folder, 1 Disc, All
Disc.
