Other Information
Front Panel
If you can’t find your remote control you can use the buttons on your TV/VCR to operate many of
the TV/VCR’s features.
Headphone Jack
Connect headphones (not supplied) to this jack.
WAKE-UP Indicator
Lights when the wake-up timer turns on the TV/VCR.
TIMER Indicator
Lights when a timer program has been set and a cassette with the safety tab is
in the TV/VCR. Also flashes when a timer recording has been set and the TV/VCR is turned off
with no cassette inserted, a cassette without the safety tab has been inserted, or there has been a
power interruption.
POWER
Turns the TV/VCR on or off. The indicator in the button is lit when the power is on.
STOP/EJECT
Stops normal functions such as record, play, rewind, fast-forward, or pause. Press
when a tape is stopped to eject the cassette.
REC (Record)
Press to start TV/VCR recording. The indicator in the button lights during
recording.
REW (Rewind)
Rewinds the tape when the TV/VCR is stopped. Searches the picture in reverse
during playback.
PLAY/PAUSE
Press once to begin playback of a tape. During playback, press to pause. Press
again to resume playback.
F. FWD (Fast Forward)
Fast forwards the tape when the VCR is stopped. Searches the picture
forward during playback.
Remote Sensor
Receives signals from the remote. Aim remote at this sensor with no objects
between them.
VOL – Decreases the volume.
VOL + Increases the volume.
CH
Scans down through the current channel list. Used for manual tracking when a tape is
playing.
CH ^ Scans up through the channel list. Used for manual tracking when a tape is playing.
AUDIO IN and VIDEO IN Jacks
Receives audio and video signals from another component, like
a VCR or camcorder when it is connected to these jacks. To select these front panel jacks, press 00
twice to display VIDEO2.
