• Press 3 to set or cancel the area code setting.
• You cannot make a call from the Caller ID list if your cordless telephone is
connected to a private branch exchange (PBX).
Saving a Call Log Entry into Memory
Messages shown in the Caller ID list can be stored in memory.
1. Press CID to enter the call log.
2. Press RING/VOL +/– to select the phone number to be stored.
3. Press MEM.
4. Press RING/VOL +/– or (0–9) to select a memory location.
5. Press SELECT. A confirmation sounds and the number is stored in memory.

Note: If a number has already been stored in the selected memory
location, a confirmation screen is displayed. Press RING/VOL + to select
Yes
,
then press SELECT to overwrite. The display returns to the Caller ID list.
Deleting from the Call Log
The cordless phone stores up to 30 Caller ID messages. If the phone receives
the 31st message, the oldest one in the list is automatically deleted and the
newest is stored. Caller ID data can also be deleted manually.
Deleting a Caller ID message
1. Press CID.
2. Select the message to be deleted.
3. Press DEL/CH.
4. Press SELECT. A tone sounds and the Caller ID message is deleted.

Notes:
• If no key is pressed for more than 30 seconds, an error tone sounds and the
telephone returns to the standby mode.
• If you get an incoming call, the deleting operation is canceled and you can
answer the call.
Delete all Caller ID names and numbers:
1. Press CID.
2. Press DEL/CH
3. Select
Yes
.
4. Press SELECT. A tone sounds and all stored Caller ID messags are deleted.
