Install and Charge Battery

Install the battery as shown below. The battery may have enough initial charge
for a short call. For best performance, charge the battery for at least 15-20
hours before first use. Completely charge and drain the battery once a month
afterwards. When the battery power is low,

1. Press down and slide the battery compartment cover off.
2. Insert the plug of the battery as indicated (the connector fits only one way).

Make sure it is plugged securely and matches the color-coded label inside
the battery compartment.

3. Place the battery and the wires inside the battery compartment.
4. Align the battery compartment cover flat against the battery compartment,

then slide it upwards until it clicks into place.

5. Charge the handset by placing it in the telephone base. The CHARGE / IN

USE indicator lights on the base when charging.
