24 U35 FPI Direct Vent Gas Insert
REMOVING VALVE
1) Shut off the gas supply.
2) Remove the louvers (and bay door if it is
on).
3) Open the fl ush door and remove the door.
4) Remove the logs and brick panels if
installed.
5) Straighten the adjustment wire under the
fi rebox base.
7) Lift the Burner/Rear Log Support assembly
up and away from the orifi ce.

Lift Burner/Rear Log Support assembly up
and away from the burner orifi ce.
MAINTENANCE
13) Disconnect green wire from power cord.
Replacing fan:
Reverse above steps.
Seal fan access panel using high temperature
Burner/Rear Log
Support Assembly:
After removing the
screws slide to the
left to remove the
assembly from the
fi rebox base.
Left Side Burner
Bracket
Straighten adjustment wire.
6) Remove the Burner/Rear Log Support
assembly by removing the 2 screws (1 on
each side) and sliding the assembly to the
left to free the bottom brackets from the
screws on the fi rebox base.
10) Unplug the wires from the fan motor (from
inside the stove).
11) Remove the 2 screws from the fan
bracket.
12) Pull Fan Assembly forward, to disenagage
the fan clip on the rear wall. Then lift the
Fan Assembly up and pull through fi rebox
opening.
