4. Either hold the MENU key until the countdown timer times out or
release the MENU key to abort Factory Reset.
When the unit is reset, it restarts as for a first time Power Up with
all values reset to their original factory settings
Note:
The factory default settings are listed in Chapter 4.
6.3 Problem Solving
Prior to packing and shipping, all Raymarine products are subjected to
comprehensive test and quality assurance programs. However, should
this unit develop a fault, refer to Table 6-2 to identify the most likely
cause and the corrective action required to restore normal operation.
If you still have a problem, contact your local dealer, national distributor
or Raymarine Product Support for further advice.
Always quote the product serial number.

Unit does not function
1 Make sure that the power supply cable is sound and that
all connections are tight and free from corrosion.
2 Check polarity of the DC power cables for proper connec-
tion.
Reconnect leads as necessary.
3 Check in-line fuse and replace as required.
4 Check vessel’s power (battery) for correct voltage read-
ings (9.0VDC to 32.0VDC).
Poor display definition
Adjust contrast setting and/or backlight level.
No fix
Check GPS Antenna connector.
Check that GPS Antenna is not obstructed.
No NMEA data
received
Check POWER/NMEA connector and NMEA equipment.
Loss of stored data
eg. waypoints
Return to dealer for internal battery check.
No detailed chart data
Check that C-Card is securely fitted.
Check that C-Card contains appropriate cartography.
