Voice privacy

—Let you protect the

privacy of your current phone

conversation from other callers placing

phone calls on your network. Select

Network settings

You can set your device to roam or

search for another network when you

are not in your home area. Your device

is set to search for the most cost-

effective network. These options are

network operator dependent and may

differ from those described.

In standby mode, select

Menu

. Select

Home only

to make

and receive calls in your home area

only, or

Automatic

to search for service

in another digital network. The

roaming rate applies when not in the

home service area. Press

OK

, if

necessary, to confirm the activation.

Store a feature code

Feature codes can be set for

Call divert

,

Call waiting

, and

Send my caller ID

with next call

network services.

1. In standby mode, select

Menu

Network settings

>

Network feature setting

and an

option.

2. Select an option within that

service. For example,

Call divert

>

Divert all voice calls

>

Activate

.

3. At the

Feature code:

prompt,

enter the appropriate feature code

(5 characters or less).

You can enter other feature codes,

or press the end key to return to

standby mode. When you enter a

network feature code, the feature is

visible in the

Call settings

menu.

Call divert

Call divert tells your network to

redirect incoming calls to another

number. Call divert is a network service

and may not work the same in all

networks, so contact your wireless

provider for availability.

1. In standby mode, select

Call settings

>

Call

divert

and one of the following

options:

Divert all voice calls

—Divert all calls

to the number you specify.

Divert if busy

—Divert incoming

calls when you are in a call.

Divert if not answered

—Divert

incoming calls to another number

if you are unable to answer.

You can set a delay before

diverting takes place.
