Text entry
• For each letter of the word that you
want to spell, press the
corresponding key on your keypad
only once, even if the letter you
want is not the first letter on the
key. The device guesses the word
you are trying to spell.
• If a displayed word is not correct,
press * to see other matches.
• Press 0 to enter a space and begin
writing the next word.
• If ? appears after a word,
select Spell , enter the word
using traditional text entry,
and select OK .
• Press 1 to insert a period into your
message.
• Press and hold * to display special
characters.
• Press # to switch between
sentence, upper and lower case;
and, if a language is selected,
press # twice to switch between
traditional input and predictive
text modes.
