Send items and drafts
The
Sent items
folder stores copies of
the messages that you have sent.
The
Drafts
folder stores messages that
you saved while you were writing
them. To save a message while writing,
select
Options
>
Save message
.
While viewing a message, select
Options
for other functions.
Distribution lists
If you need to send messages
frequently to a fixed group of
recipients, you can define a
distribution list and use it to send a
message. You can define up to
6 distribution lists, each with up to
10 recipients. The device sends a text
message to each recipient separately.
Contacts removed from the contact list
are automatically removed from their
distribution lists.
Define a distribution list
1. In standby mode, select
Menu
>
Messages
>
Distribution lists
.
Highlight an empty list and
select
Options
>
Add list
.
2. Enter a name for the list,
and select
OK
.
3. To add contacts to this list, select
Options
>
View list
>
Options
>
Add contact
and the contact or
contacts to be added to the list.
4. When you have added your
contacts, select
Back
.
Send a message to a
distribution list
1. In standby mode, select
Menu
>
Messages
>
Create message
.
2. Select
Options
>
Sending options
>
Send to list
, the desired distribution
list, and
OK
.
If a message is not sent to one or more
recipients, a report is displayed listing
the number of failures and successful
sendings.

Select
Resend
to resend the
message to the failed recipients.
•
Select
View
to view the list of
failed recipients.
Screened messages
You can view a message sent by a
contact in your screened list.
In standby mode, select
Menu
>
Messages
>
Screened messages
and
the desired message. While viewing
the message:
•
Select
Options
>
Delete
, to delete
the message.
•
Select
Options
>
Delete from list
,
to delete the number from the
screened numbers list.
