Creating Text Messages
If the Message list is empty, you can enter a custom text message. Refer
to “Dialpad layout” on page 36 for more information about entering text
with the dialpad.
To write a custom message:

Press the
Options
soft key.
4.
Press the
arrow
keys to scroll and highlight either of:
•
Details
(to display the message date and time.)
•
Read
(to display the entire message. Use the
arrow
keys to scroll and display longer messages.)
5.
Press the
OK
soft key.
6.
Press the
Esc
soft key one or more times to return to
the idle display.

Open the
Messages
menu as discussed in “Working
with Text Messages” on page 29.
2.
Press the
Options
soft key.
3.
Press the
arrow
keys to scroll and highlight the
New
option.
4.
Use the dialpad to enter the text of your message.
5.
Press the
Options
soft key.
