Storage Device Installation
The following subsections describe how to install 3 1/2-inch and 5 1/4-inch
devices. The installation procedures include:
T removing the front panel
T removing the CD-ROM/DVD drive
T installing a 3 1/2-inch device
T installing a 5 1/4-inch device
T replacing the front panel.
Removing the Front Panel
Use the following procedure to remove the front panel.
1. Locate the two plastic tabs at the front of the chassis. They are indicated by
two arrows engraved on the chassis.
2. Press down on the two tabs and press in a third tab at the end of the panel to
release the panel (see the following figure).
