ERASE MISTAKES
If you make a mistake:
• Press to erase one character to the left.
• Press Clear as needed to erase more than one character.
CHANGE LETTER CASE

To switch between uppercase and lowercase letters, press .
The icon switches to , showing you are using lowercase
letters.
• To enter a number while in letter mode, press and hold a key until the
key’s number appears on the screen.
Use special characters in names and phone numbers
Your phone has specials characters, symbols and punctuation that are
available when writing text. Here is a sample of what you will find:
IN ABC
1 Press and hold .
A screen appears with the available symbols.
2 Use and to move to the character
you want, and then press Insert.
Note: For faster scrolling when viewing special characters, you can use
the (up), (down), (left) and (right) keys.
