• USE THE CARRYING CASE
The carrying case helps protect the phone when you’re not using it.
Nokia recommends that you keep the phone in a case when you’re not
actively using the phone for calls.
• ADJUST THE VOLUME
You can change the volume level on your
phone, making incoming voice sounds louder
or softer.
Note: This topic and the topic on setting screen contrast requires
that you use menus. You may wish to review the next two chapters
to learn more about menus and then return here to adjust volume
and contrast.
While in a call, Press to increase the volume, and to
decrease it.
A bar chart appears on the phone’s screen, showing the current
volume level.
• ADJUST SCREEN CONTRAST
You can change the contrast on your phone’s
screen, making the screen brighter or darker.

Press Menu 4 > 3 > 5 (Menu > Settings >
Phone settings > Display contrast).
