TRANSFERRING INCOMING CALLS
1. Answer the incoming call.
2. Press the Conf/TR, or the Transfer key, which ever key applies to

your service.

3. Place an outgoing call. When you hear ringing – press Transfer.

CONFERENCING TWO OUTGOING CALLS
1. Place the first call.
2. Press the Conf or the Conf/Tr softkey, the phone automatically

provides dial tone from another Call Appearance.

3. Dial the number of the second party.
4. Press the Join key to complete the conference.

This display is shown after the second call is ringing.

NOTE: You may announce the transferred call before completing

the transfer or abort the transfer by pressing the original,
held Call Appearance. Always complete the transfer
by either pressing the transfer key or by returning to
the original call before answering another call.

NOTE: On the Nortel DMS-100

and Siemens EWSD

switches, the Conf key is displayed as Conf/Tr. On the
Lucent Technologies 5ESS

switch it is displayed as

Conf and Trans keys.
