SETTING THE BACKLIGHTING OPTIONS
The i2021 Teleset incorporates a two-line, 24 character, adjustable, backlit
display. There are three settings for the backlight feature: off, on, and
dynamic.
OFF – When the backlight feature is set to off, no
backlighting is present.
ON – When the backlight feature is on, the backlighting is
continuous.
DYNAMIC – When the dynamic backlighting feature is enabled,
the display is backlit whenever the handset is off-
hook or the Teleset is ringing. In the dynamic setting,
the display is backlit for a period of 30 seconds after
the ringing ceases or the handset goes on-hook.
To return to the main menu at any time, press the MENU hardkey.
To set these options, first press the MENU key and then the MORE key.
The display appears as shown below.
Press the BkLight “softkey”. The display will show the current setting on
the top line. To change the option, press the appropriate softkey.
