Press the button.
This activates the Face Selector function.
There are triangles on the top, bottom, left,
and right of the frame around the person
currently in focus.

Use the four-way controller
(2345) to select the person you
want to focus on.

Press the OK button.
The main frame (yellow) appears over the
face you want to focus on.
The face recognized by the main frame
continues to be recognized as long as it
remains within the composition.
∗ When a face is recognized by the main
frame, the triangles on the frame turn to face inward.

Press the shutter release button halfway.
The focus frame on the display will light green when the camera is in
focus.

Press the shutter release button fully.
The picture is taken.
