NOTE
Converts the selected page into a monochrome image.
The dialog box of Threshold Sizes is displayed.
Adjust the B/W Threshold by sliding the bar. If Preview
has been checked, the adjustment result is displayed on
the image window.

Monochrome
Converts the selected page into a grayscale image. A
message appears upon converting a color image into
monochrome, or grayscale.
■
Grayscale
Converts a selected page into a RGB color image.
■
RGB Color
• Grayscale and color information of a grayscale or RGB color image is lost upon
conversion into a monochrome image. The lost information is not restorable.
• Color information of a RGB color image is lost upon conversion into a grayscale
image. The lost information is not restorable.
