Setting up VCR Plus+ ® channels
You need to program the DVD recorder
with your local channel information
before you can use VCR Plus+
®
programming system.

Press SYSTEM-MENU.
➜ The system menu appears on the TV.

Press 4 repeatedly to select { Set-up .}

Press 2 repeatedly to select { Analog
Ch.}

Press 4 repeatedly to select { VCR Plus+
Ch. } and press 2 to confirm.

Press 3 4 to select a VCR Plus+ ®
channel number and press 2 to confirm.

Press 3 4 to select the VCR Plus+ ® TV
channel or use the alphanumeric
keypad 0-9, then press 1 to confirm.

If you use the alphanumeric keypad 0-9,
enter the channel number as a three-digit
number. For example, for channel 18,
press 0, 1, 8.

Refer to the list from your local
newspaper or TV guide for the
VCR Plus+
® channel numbers for your
area. These are the numbers you will
enter as the channel number as you
complete the selection.

Repeat steps 5 ~ 6 to search for other
TV channels.
Selecting the channel input signal
The DVD recorder will detect whether
you connected an Antenna or Cable TV
signal. If you are not receiving the
correct channels, you can use this
function to select the type of connection
you are using and allow the DVD
recorder to reset the channels.

{ Connection } and press 2 to confirm.

Press 3 4 to select the connection the
TV is using.

{ Auto } : Select this to enable the
DVD recorder to detect the input signal
automatically.

{ Cable } : Select this if you connected
a cable signal.

{ Antenna } : Select this if you
connected an antenna signal.

Press OK to confirm.
➜ The TV channel search starts.
