Displaying Shooting Information in

Capture Mode

The LCD monitor display changes each time you press the OK button.

If [FILT.] has been registered on the OK button, change the setting to

[DISPLAY] on the [B Set-up] menu. (1p.126)
Norm. (Normal display)
Shooting information appears when the camera is

turned on.

1 Flash mode

2 Drive mode

3 Focus mode

4 Capture mode

5 Digital filter

6 Digital zoom

7 Remaining image count

8 Remaining time

9 Card status

10 Date and time

11 EV compensation

12 Focus frame

13 Battery level indicator

14 Shutter speed

15 Aperture
H+inf (Histogram and information)
The brightness distribution of the image is

displayed. The horizontal axis of the histogram

shows the brightness (darkest at the left end and

brightest at the right end) and the vertical axis

shows the number of pixels.

1 White balance

2 Recorded pixels

3 Quality level

4 Sensitivity

5 Histogram

6 AE metering

Grid (Grid display or Normal display in
Playback mode)
A grid appears to help you compose your
pictures.

Frame (Frame only and no information)
No shooting information is displayed.
• The focus frame appears in Autofocus mode.

• If any of the modes are changed, such as the

flash mode, the new setting appears on the
LCD monitor for a few seconds.
