Spotlight
dims all of the image except for the area around
the mouse pointer. You specify the shape and size of the
spotlight (circular, square, or bar). Once you start Spotlight,
press the MouseDisk to change its size. Another setting
makes the Spotlight visible against a black background.
Stamp
allows you to choose from 15 bitmaps to “stamp,”
or paste, over the projected image. You can choose to play
a sound each time you stamp.
Switch to F/X
switches to the Polaroid F/X main screen.
Telestrator
turns the mouse into a freehand drawing tool.
You can customize the color and width of the line and “con-
strain” the drawing to only horizontal or vertical lines.
Ticker Tape
displays a scrolling text message across the
image. Just specify the text of what you want to appear, the
typeface, and the point size. You can play a sound file each
time the message runs across the image, and customize the
background color and picture.
Title Screen
projects an image from a BMP file. You can
use this effect to show a predefined image with transition
effects during a presentation. You can also play an associat-
ed sound. Just specify which file to play and indicate
whether to play it when the image appears or continuously.
Zoom
enlarges the entire image to 200 percent, 400 percent,
or 800 percent of its original size. You choose whether to
show the mouse pointer during a Zoom and indicate the
level of magnification. If you check the Show Cursor During
Zoom check box, click on the left mouse button to cancel
the zoom. If you and the right mouse button to perform a
mouse click .
Note: Most effects have an option that lets you rename the
command itself.
