Using the Optical Image Stabilizer
When using this function at the scene the
shutter jiggle is easy to happen, you can
minimize the shutter jiggle.
[Preparation]
• Set the mode dial except for [
]/[
]. (P25)

Press the [MENU] button.

3/4 to select [STABILIZER].

2/1 to select [ON]/[OFF].

Press the [MENU] button.
• The menu will disappear.
• Only when selecting [OFF], the indication
[
]
1 will appear.
• When too much jiggle happens or taking a picture chasing the moving subject, it may not be
stabilized.
• The stabilizer function may be difficult to be effective in the digital zoom zone.
• When taking pictures with low shutter speed such as night portrait, the stabilizer function
may be difficult to be effective.
• When the zoom lever is close to T and the shutter speed is slower than 1/125, the shutter
jiggle alert
2 appears.
• We recommend to use a tripod when the shutter jiggle alert appears.
• In simple mode [
], the stabilizer function is fixed to [ON].
