Taking Pictures in Simple Mode
• Offering simplified menu for ease of use.
• The picture size is easy to select.
• The icons on the display are shown larger.
We recommend you use this mode when you ask someone to take a picture.
1 Set the mode dial to Simple mode
[ ].
2 Press the [MENU] button.
3 Press 3/4 to select [PICT. MODE].

•[BEEP] (P79)
•[CLOCK SET] (P27)
4 Press 2/1 to select [ENLARGE],
[4”x6”/10x15cm], [INTERNET].
5 Press the [MENU] button.
6 Take a picture.
• The recording method is the same as in
“Taking Pictures”. (P28)
• The burst mode is available only with the low speed. (P58)
• If the distance between the camera and the object is beyond the recordable range
(Tele: 3.94 feet (120 cm), Wide: 0.16 feet (5 cm)), the focus may not be adjusted properly
even the focus indication
1 is lighting.
• The settings (except for the clock setting) of the simple mode will not be applied to the other
recording modes.
