Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Cause Solution
No image appears on
the screen Computer is not
powered on. Turn on computer.
Power cord is not
securely connected. Tighten power cord connection and turn
on computer.
Video cable
connected incorrectly. Make sure the first display of a dual-
headed system or the only display of a
single-headed system is connected to the
Video 1 port on the Dome DX2 display
controller.
No display on console;
system does not boot. Switch 1 on DIP
switch S2 is set for
VGA mode. Disable VGA on all DX2 boards you install.
Slide switch 1 on DIP switch S2 into the
OFF position.
Switch 2 on DIP
switch S2 is set to OFF. Check that EPROM is enabled on all
Dome DX2 boards. Slide switch 2 on
DIP switch S2 into the ON position.
